Esri’s ArcGIS AppStudio is a low-code platform for creating geo-enabled, cross-platform native apps. It offers out-of-the-box templates that let users quickly configure native apps without needing to write code.
Through user feedback and support requests, our team identified a gap: users needed a new app template that would let them integrate their own map data and create a configurable experience for discovering and viewing nearby points of interest (POI).
Solution
We created the Nearby Template App, a new AppStudio template that allows Esri users to leverage their existing map data to build cross-platform native apps for discovering, viewing, and navigating to nearby points of interest. This solution gives users a simple, configurable way to transform their data into a fully functional POI-focused mobile experience—without writing any code.
